We at R.E.A.C.T Global Training Systems Limited are all aware that the use of all offensive weapons is increasing on a worldwide basis and with more pressure on the Police and security staff to stay knowledgeable about the immense selection of commercially man-made, disguised, improvised and adapted weaponry accessible in our society today. Every day these working professionals are imperilled by the nature of their selected occupation. Disastrous circumstances can and do result from a basic lack of joint information and lack of weapons awareness and in spite of of the security workforce often having use of the latest sophisticated detection equipment available to them, if they are not taught what to look for then they won’t find it, this will unavoidable result in a breach of security and possibly injury to staff.  All these points emphasize a progressing need for a more all-inclusive and in detail weapons awareness training to your staff. The resourcefulness and design of any weapon is only limited by one person’s individual imagination.

        

We at R.E.A.C.T Global Training Systems Limited are at the forefront of this education programme and recognise this and have along with other agencies in Europe developed an all inclusive Weapons Awareness and Recognition-training package, which Airport staff in Europe and Schools & Colleges and retail in the UK have already adopted.

R.E.A.C.T Global Training Systems Limited does not believe in the issue of weapon training packages for sale to organisations for continuation training due to the risk of possible breaches of security.

Our complete package is part of a one day certificated training course where delegates will be introduced to all the general elements of manufactured, homemade, and disguised fundamentals of weapon design and component parts.

The training package consists of the following:

Weapons Awareness and profiles

Firearms and there component parts (On request)

Fundamentals of edged weaponry

Impact and striking weapons

Thrown and propelled weaponry

Weapons and concealment.

The Law on carrying & concealment

Evidence preservation and the importunacy of procedures for dealing with cultural differences and diversity needs are also taught.Other training elements consist of systematic and methodical search procedures on persons, vehicles and area’s, to include the use of metal detectors, and portals where required.

This is in addition to the above training package on request.

A hand on defence against weapons is delivered to organisations on request.

This course is intended for those employees at the uppermost levels of the Security industry as well as those in the secondary sectors of the security industry, it is appropriate to professionals in the, retail, cash & transit and door supervisors, who are under a constant unknown threat everyday.

This training package is Not the Skills for Security package as taught by other organisations in the UK; this package is different and unique to R.E.A.C.T Global Training Systems Ltd.

REACT Global Training Systems Limited also offer a Weapons Awareness workshops for young people and adults, with the aim of providing realistic information, raising awareness and generating further discussion on gun and knife-related issues affecting young people.
The workshops cover a variety of issues including prison sentences for weapons-related offences, self-defence, weapons-related injuries and examining the reasons why many young people carry weapons.
